Lakeview Guest House is situated in Parkview, whick is in a part of "old" Johannesburg known as "the Parks". The roads in Parkview are lined with Jacaranda Trees and the suburb is very leafy and green which creates an ambiance of peace and tranquility. Lakeview Guest House is opposite the Zoo Lake and is within walking distance to the Johannesburg Zoo.

Lakeview Guest House is situated approximately 200 meters from the small business centre situated on Tyrone Avenue which boasts amongst other stores, several restaurants, a Postnet , Post Office, Spar, Pharmacies and medical suites. The guest house is approximately 1km from Parkview Golf Club, a top 50 ranked South African Golf Course.

Lakeview Guest House is surrounded by well appointed schools and are also within walking distance to most churches as well as the Parkview Library and Tennis Club.
